How many centimetres are there in one meter?

1 Meter = 100 centimeters

What is 25 centimetres 

25/100 = 1/4 meter or 9.84inches

 We sell lots of fabric in 25 centimetre units so 4 units equals one meter

 But how many yards is one meter

1 yard = 0.9144meter

Therefore one meter = 1.0936 yards

or 39.370 inches

or 1 yard 3.37 inches

So a yard is smaller than a meter 

and a meter is bigger than a yard by 3.37 inches
